axiTile

MaxiTile is a California Corporation, and a member of the Mexalit group, which has been manufacturing fiber-cement building products for over 50 years.  it has nine factories located in North and South America.

MaxiSiding
is manufactured using the finest materials, in strict accordance with U.S. and international building codes, with state of the are technology.  The products consist of cement, sand, cellulose fiber, water and additives, using the autoclave curing process.

The high quality control standards employed throughout the factories have allowed the company to receive official ISO 9001 certification.

Performance

With proper installation and care MaxiSiding resists termites and will not crack, rot or deteriorate.  MaxiSidingis durable and dimensionally stable, providing satisfaction in all climates.  In fact we are so proud of our siding products, that we guarantee them for up to 50 years!

MaxiSiding is non-combustible.  In a fire situation, it will not melt like vinyl nor will it burn or generate toxic fumes like wood or hardboard.

It costs less and requires less maintenance than wood based siding.  Like wood, MaxiSiding must be installed dry in order to avoid undesirable movements.

Applications

MaxiPlank lap siding can be used for many applications including siding, fascia, fence boards and deck skirting.  Shake Siding is also available, in individual pieces as well as panels.

MaxiPanel is designed for use as vertical siding.  The Fiesta Stucco look is perfect for Tudor-style homes.  The Cedar panel gives great accent effects.  The V-groove panel is the preferred choice for manufactured housing.

MaxiPanel can also be used for soffit, gables, parapets, porches and deck skirting.

MaxiSoffit panels are available vented or non-vented.  Vented soffit avoids the need for separate boxes or strip vents and minimizes the need for cutting.  All soffit panels are available primed or unprimed, except Vented soffit:  Primed only.

Finishing

Both MaxiPlank and MaxiPanel come with smooth or textured surfaces givng the appearanceof wood without the flaws and knots.

Poor job site conditions and weather often lead to delays  in finishing your siding.  That is why we recommend selecting MaxiPrime factory primed planks and panels.  MaxiPrime provides a superior surface, allowing for faster and more uniform field application of the finishing coats.

Paint life depends on the quality and quantity of paint applied.  Two topcoats give the best results.  Unlike wood, paint on fiber cement will last for many years.

Moisture Protection

Like any siding product, MaxiSiding is not an effective moisture resistant barrier by itself.  We recommend using every means to protect your walls from moisture penetration.
